Oil Painting

So painting is a relatively new hobby for me. Before this year i had never actually seriously attempted a painting, and because of this I haven't really gotten to experiment with different mediums and techniques. Until recently. A few weekends ago my mom and I went to the craft store and I loaded up on a ton of painting materials, including oil paint, which I've been dying to try. 
And so I sat down at my easel and let creativity take hold of me. 
And this is what I ended up with.

 I'm quite pleased with it. Oil paint was a lot of fun for me, despite the fact that it takes like a week to dry. Regardless I'm excited to do more with it :)
